Scottish Country Dancing classes

Why not come along and join us at the Geneva Scottish Country Dancing Club? Scottish country dancing is an easy way to keep fit, make new friends and have fun! You don’t need previous experience or a partner, and there’s no requirement to have any links with Scotland or to wear tartan. Enthusiasm and soft, comfortable shoes are the only two things you’ll need! You’ll meet a very friendly crowd of people of all ages and nationalities. (There are Scottish country dancing clubs in most major cities in Europe and further afield, so you can go on to dance all over the world.)

Teaching is mostly in English, but we all speak French and can help a bit if you don’t speak the language. Classes are held in the centre of town every Thursday excluding school holidays and some summer months, starting at 6.15 pm. The next class of the season is on Thursday, 29th November, 2018. Please visit our website www.genevascdc.com to check other dates and get more details.

We also hold Beginners’ Classes every second Sunday. See our website for more information.
